Robomonkey Productions - Producers
Robomonkey Productions produces horror, exploitation, action and sci-fi films, in a 'B movie' style.

After meeting on another independent film shoot, Melantha Blackthorne and Jason Cavalier discovered that they had a couple of mutual interests which were filmmaking and horror\action films. They decided to embark on a project of their own, one that would reflect their unique sensibilities.

Robomonkey has since launched their first film entitled 'Sinners And Saints'. Due to the success of this horror/action extravaganza Jason and Melantha were hired by Braemar Entertainment to lend a hand in creating 'The Order Of One'. It is a cross between road pictures of the 70's, and " Sonny Chiba style karate flicks." The Order Of One is now complete and will be released this Summer.

'Countess Bathoria's Graveyard Picture Show' is Robomonkey's third production.

Deadhouse Music - Musician
“I’ve had a life-long love affair with things that go bump in the night.” says Mars, ” I remember being captivated by monster movies at a very young age. I saw all the classic Universal horror films on late-night television, and I was hooked. The appreciation of that gothic aesthetic has endured into my adult life, and helped shape the person I have become.”

Born into a family of musicians; Mars is a multi-instrumentalist who began performing professionally at the age of 13. He has played with Symphony Orchestras, as well as Jazz, Metal, Worldbeat, and Goth bands on tours through Europe, Canada, and the United States.
He has logged countless hours in recording studios as a session musician, and is himself an accomplished studio engineer. Having grown weary of the road; Mars turned his attention towards composing film scores in late 2004. Soon after, he decided to combine his two greatest loves: music and horror films. Thus was born Dead House Music; a company dedicated to providing high quality, original scores for genre films.

Since founding Dead House Music in 2005, Mars has worked with genre veterans like “Puppetmaster” creator Kenneth J. Hall (”The Halfway House”), and up and coming talent like directors Melantha Blackthorne ("The Graveyard Picture Show"), Scott Goldberg (“The Forest Hills”), D.W. Kann (“Prison of the Psychotic Damned”), and SV Bell on "Rise OF The Ghosts" (Co-scoring with horror music icons Midnight Syndicate). In October 2005, Mars re-scored the brilliant silent classic “Nosferatu” , and has recently released the score as a CD, entitled “Nosferatu Reborn”. He has written theme music for mega-horror authorities Dread Central, and the horror radio show "The Bloodletting Hour"

The combination of passion and professionalism are serving to build a solid reputation for Dead House Music within the horror community, and Mars has appeared in many online publications(Dread Central, The Horror Channel,About.com, to name a few)  as well as a  feature interview in Canada’s Rue Morgue magazine.

Mars is hopeful about the future.” I feel like a man on a mission. A great movie score can stand on it’s own, without the relying on flavor-of-the month bands to attract interest. I’m doing my best to return the horror score to it’s rightful place as genuinely well crafted and respected music.”
